Chartered Financial Planner

Andrew is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

He has a passion for helping clients live the lifestyle they want, providing advice and the reassurance that the correct decisions are being made for their future.

Andrew has twin daughters that keep him busy as well as enjoying travelling, skiing and cooking for the family.

Understanding you and your objectives enables Andrew to chart your journey to creating wealth through individually tailored financial solutions.

Head of Administration

Janet began working in financial services in 2004 – after previous careers in local government and raising children. She works to ensure that the administration of the clients applications and plans are spot-on, always putting the client first while striving to provide a first-class service.

Janet is married to Alan, and they have 5 adult sons between them, and 2 grandchildren. Janet’s pet-hate is jargon, corporate-speak, and bad use of English, and she strongly believes that clients deserve excellent advice in straight-forward language.

Janet loves cooking and dogs (but not at the same time), and blocking up the roads with their caravan of a weekend.

Senior Paraplanner

Matthew began working in financial services in 2000 having completed his degree. He decided early on that he wanted to help people with their finances, albeit in the background in a technical role. Matthew has various qualifications and is a self-confessed pensions geek, specialising in helping people to plan for retirement and understand if they have enough to last. He is also passionate about green/ethical investments.

Away from work, Matthew is married to his best friend Philippa. They have 2 wonderful children.

In his spare time, Matthew is a keen gardener and loves walking. He also coaches two local football teams and is an active member of the club committee.

In the quieter moments, Matthew loves spending time with his favorite people and can often be found in the garden on a sunny afternoon reading a good book.

Administrator

After working initially in retail, Gary moved to financial services over a decade ago, initially involved in cheque fraud administration for a major bank.

Gary has been with Blackstone Moregate as an administrator for six years, with a strong focus on positive and timely outcomes for clients and an enquiring attitude within the team to aid a cohesive and knowledge- based approach.

Gary is married to Charlene, whom he first met in college and together enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and metal detecting. Several metal detecting finds have been recorded by their local antiquities team including a Celtic gold coin dated to 64AD.

Gary is also passionate about music and has played the guitar for over 20 years, and on occasion performed at local venues.

Paraplanner

Rob has been working in the financial planning industry for over 7 years and in this time has gained a wide knowledge of financial planning and tax issues, enabling him to produce financial plan for UK clients.

Prior to starting at Blackstone Moregate he worked in the pensions and retirements industry at one of the largest providers in the UK. Rob then specialised in international financial planning, helping clients who were moving aboard as well as to the UK, with their financial needs.

Rob is a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner with a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

He continues to enhance his knowledge to cover a vast array of financial planning scenarios.

Outside of work Rob enjoys travelling to new countries and seeing live music.

Financial Adviser

Colin has been a financial adviser since 1994 and founder of the successful website sharingpensions.co.uk which has provided leading pension and annuity information to over a million people retiring in the past two decades.

He believes in providing a personalised service for clients when make decisions about their future income. He specialises in retirement including annuities for pensions or cash, investments and equity release from property.

In his spare time, Colin enjoys outdoor activities such as walking through London’s urban wetlands and visiting exhibitions and museums on offer in the capital.
